Art for Oil is a fundraiser show featuring eleven artists whose pieces range in style from printmaking to photography, drawing to painting, digital to handmade. Clean up efforts are underway in the Gulf of Mexico and there are organizations that need your support.
Artists donated the pieces on display to help raise money for The National Audubon Society and Save Our Seabirds, Inc. NAS is an organization that works directly with oil damaged seabirds while Save Our Seabirds, Inc. works to rehabilitate seabirds. This show began with the belief that art can make a difference.
Each work is original, creative, and affordable for the everyday art lover. Artists come from all over, including Milwaukee, Chicago, Madison, Indiana and Massachusetts.
